I work nights and try to be a rational parent in the daylight hours. My kids see me as the "bringer of the donuts" when I come home in the mornings. I'd like to think I'm more than that ... I'm also an out of shape 40-something former triathlete and jogger living a progressive life in a very conservative part of the country.

OH. MY. GOD.
I've seen that someplace, but I don't remember where. I do know that it scares me every time, and I HAVE kids!
Ok, my kids have never reached that point but I did leave a cart full of groceries in the middle of the aisle and walk out once when Lily was 2.
Come on Jen. You know you want kids. Someone has to keep the average up since I am boycotting. LOL
